Which Angels are Associated With Courage?

When you’re working with these crystals, it’s always nice to invoke the corresponding angel to promote courage and the self-confidence.

The ones I most associate with courage are:

  • Archangel Michael – for protection, courage, confidence and safety.
  • Archangel Camael – Archangel of Divine Justice
  • Guardian Angel Verchiel – for achieving your potential and to guide you through difficult situations.

Courage is a wonderful quality. While the word is often associated with physical danger, courage can help us face difficulty and uncertainty in all areas of life. It can also allow us to push through setbacks and achieve our personal goals.

So, if you’re struggling to face fears or be true to yourself, the nine crystals and rocks in this article can help.

Take a chance and see where it gets you!

My favourite crystal to use when needing some courage is Carnelian. With its calming acceptance of life’s lessons, it helps me see how to move forward when facing adversity or expanding my horizons.

  1. Mary my grandson is nearly 9. He is very spiritual and can sometimes see spirits. Sometimes this worries him and he’s afraid to go into his house . I would love to buy him a crystal that he can wear that would help him know that nothing will harm him and what he sees are his ancestors looking after him. Can you suggest a crystal that would be suitable? Many thanks, Barb G

    • Hi Barb, thank you for your comment.

This is multi layered as I’m sure you can imagine. I would place black tourmaline in his bedroom for all round protection. Then I would ask him to carry around hematite, which will place a protective shield around him. Amethyst can also reduce fear, and a black obsidian arrowhead worn round his neck may suit him, as he can hold it when he likes.

You could even place some crystals in the porch or around the front door if it provided him with some comfort.

      Hope this helps.

  2. Hi .. I am wanting to buy a crystal for two people .. one has motor Neurone disease and the other has something similar to Parkinson’s a disease which affects balance, cognitive stuff and mood plus a host of other hideous ailments .. Can you advise which crystals? The first is a really brave lady the second is a man who is a healer himself .. Thank you xx

    • Hi Gill,

Thank you for your questions and bless you for helping these people. Firstly, I am not medically trained and this is not medical advice. Crystals can be used alongside medical treatment, but not as a replacement.

The lady who has motor neurone disease may want to surround herself with crystals for self-love (please see my article: https://angelgrotto.com/crystals-stones/self-love/). Watermelon tourmaline, amazonite, clear quartz and amethyst are also good stones to try. With regards to Parkinson’s diseases, crystals like rose quartz, opal, alexandrite, amethyst and cerussite may be beneficial. I wouldn’t suggest he uses all of them together initially, but he tries them out one by one to see which give the greatest effect.

Both conditions would also benefit from black rutilated quartz. I’d suggest they kept this crystal close to them at all times. Love and blessings to you all.
